Happy October! (I missed the 1st...)

October is one of my favorite months. Leaves changing colors, the cool bite of autumn at night and the perfect weather during the day. Apple cider, spooky decorations, pumpkin spices. Speaking of pumpkin spices, I was told that at the beginning of the month, you can blow cinnamon across your doorstep into your home for prosperity and protection. I was worried about cinnamon messing with the cat's respiratory system (she already gets a little wheezy every once in a while) so I tossed a cinnamon stick on our front door frame. And of course, stupid cinnamon stick didn't protect me; I'm sick again. It's not too horrible, just a bit of a sore throat and some coughing, but I just got over a cold like two weeks ago )': I'm just hoping that I'll feel a ton better before Friday night. That's the last night that I'm subbing for the musical which is both sad and a big relief to me. (It's like a 3 hour show.) Anyways, I hope the changing seasons brings welcome changes to all of you.

edit: whelp, I learned a valuable lesson in backing up your work. My plan was to use my September blog post page as a template for my October one, and somehow I saved my October page over my September one. Stupid cinnamon stick not protecting my data.
